Breast & Bottle Feeding

Together we will help you improve your baby's latch, decrease breastfeeding pain, manage oral-ties,  revisions, improve your baby's overall oral functioning, and improve your milk transfer for adequate weight gain and efficient feeds.

This is ideal for infants who are having difficulty with breast and/or bottle feeding. Multiple factors that can influence success, including sensory processing concerns, positioning difficulties, and/or oral-motor skill deficits (like sucking difficulties) that are making feeding problematic. 

We are here to help with:

  • Milk supply issues

  • Transitioning to bottle

  • Coughing/choking during feeding

  • Poor endurance and/or weight gain

  • Arching or stiffening of the body during feeding 

  • Irritability or lack of alertness during feeding

  • Long feeding times (e.g., more than 30 minutes) 

  • “Lazy” nurser or falls asleep quickly with feedings

  • Excessively frequent feeding

  • Decreased weight gain

  • Gumming/chewing nipple

  • Fussiness at breast/colic

  • Reflux

  • Profuse suck blisters on the lips

  • Difficulty flanging lip or opening mouth widely for latch

  • Poor latch or shallow latch

  • Latches well initially but slides down the nipple repeatedly during a feeding

  • Clicking noise when sucking
